When I set out to write my series Head Harvest, I wanted to tell a sprawling, epic tale. Something ambitious like Mark Danielewski’s House of Leaves.

But, of course, fun and laughter is important, too, and that’s also my intention with this series. It’s only when we can laugh at the absurdity of it all that we start to gain back our power!
